「I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.」

「We had a condo overlooking the creek and with a view of the mountains. It was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The in-room fireplace was also a romantic touch. The location is excellent if you like peace and nature, but still being only a block away from the main strip of restaurants and activities. RiverStone is also very close to Dollywood and Dolly's Stampede theater. We found it well worth the cost and will be back next time...

「Exceptional」

「HVAC was rattling and noisy all night- So it kept me from sleeping. Asked for repair and told it was done , but was not fixed. I had no sleep, my health was ruined and all because of a very old wall AC that could not be repaired. There was no attendant on site late at night to help with problem. How could this be a luxury hotel with minimal amenities and too old to operate systems. Shameful for the way it is promoted. It is not a small luxury hotel. Could be a roadside hotel without a...
