「We had a problem when we first got there. Our key card would not work and we were fighting with the door for about 10 mins. Boyfriend went to go get another key and I see a woman peeking out from behind the curtain in the window. I asked her if she was staying in that room and she came to the door and we spoke. Felt terrible because we woke her. Boyfriend comes back around the corner with the original key card and the person behind the desk only to find out that yes that room was already given...

「First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. The rooms...

「I am a history enthusiast about SC. I liked the location for convenience to the annual Gullah Festival and waterfront. The bed was comfortable but the need to change out the pillows is a must because the filler was in bug balls and required constant shaking for comfort. Parking- great. We were greeted by a wonderful clean scent when we entered the hotel and a warm welcome by the front desk Customer Service person. Our room was cool, comfortable, & clean. If it wasn't late in the day my son would have swam in the outdoor heated pool, which looked like a nice place to relax.
