"This resort exceeded our expectations. Being vegan it can be difficult to find a variety of appropriate food when traveling. Once the resort knew, the chefs prepared special meals just for me every dinner. I have never had that kind of service. BTW: the food! So amazing, every meal. The staff were all exceptional; friendly, helpful and courteous. Emiliano, Christina, Noe, Edgar, Karen, Iliana, Roberto, Alejandro, housekeeping staff; I wish I could remember everyone’s names. Every encounter was pleasant. Alan the manager, introduced himself on our first day and checked in throughout to ensure we were having a pleasant stay. Room was clean and well supplied. Housekeeping staff kept it that way for our 2 week stay. The hotel is quiet, calm and so very restful. The decor is beautiful. The spa is fantastic and the staff there were wonderful as well. Would love to return here again one day. "

"I was looking for peaceful place to stay and explore the island. The room was perfect and spacious. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Bathroom supplied toliries. Staff was gracious and always available. Light fare breakfast of fruit and fresh pastries was great way to start the day. 2 higher end restaurant next door and many with in walking. Right down ally to bus( cheapest way to get around island 20 pesos) and could walk to Punta sur, Garrafon park, kin ha. It’s not a party spot or resort vibe but that’s not what I wanted and provided an oasis away from tourists traffic areas. Pool is small but beautiful and well maintained with outdoor grill area available and lots of loungers. "

"Great stay! Very clean, brand new condition, friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sierra Mar and would love to go back. AC in all bedrooms was running exceptionally, washer and dryer was a bonus and there is an ice machine on the main level. Exceeded all expectations!"

"My stay was just I needed. This is a small well kept boutique that appears to be family run where they are available at all times for anything that you need. The roof deck while small was very tranquil had a small pool that turns into a Jacuzzi and six or seven last year that were peaceful, great place to relax Very happy with my experience there "
