"we came on a 14 hour night flight and then a 1 hour taxi ride - we then sat in hotel reception for 3.5 hours - our room was not ready but we were not offered any where to sit and rest - the cafe was very busy and we were not offered even a free drink or anywhere more comfortable to sit - i cannot imagine this happening at the mandarin oriental the 5 star hotel we stayed in for the next part of out trip where nothing was too much trouble - i also asked for 2 tea bags and was given them but told if i wanted more i would have to pay for them ????? £700 per night and i am begrudged a tea bag - we bought a box in 7/11"

"First time to Japan and this was a great resting spot. I loved the amenities table in the lobby. Good selection of restaurants and convenience stores in the lower floors. A little bit of a walk to Shinjuku Station (12 minutes) but very easy. "

"The air conditioning didn’t work and it was very hot. The laundry mats were very inconvenient and the dryers didn’t work well (it took about 2 hours to dry each load) and there weren’t enough machines, so everyone was waiting. It wasn’t a very good operation."

"Excellent hotel. The staff and service was impeccable. The room we had was huge and had a nice view. Lots of restaurants in the area and short walk to train stations and the Tokyo metropolitan building. Would 10000% stay there again. Thank you!"

"Living in Canada, this room is small ,compact everything. Bed was comfortable but against 2 walls. Small micro wave and electric kettle. Cutlery desk used to cook your our breakfast that could be purchased at main desk. McDonald’s was right next door. Modern design. Washer/Dryer in room. Heated toilet seat / bidet was a delight. I would recommend this hotel to a couple or single travelers. "

"The lobby of the hotel is beautiful about the room was just a regular room. There was no one outside to take our luggage when we arrived. We also needed a taxi in the morning and we're told to just stand outside until one came. We waited quite a while and none came so we walked to the train station and were late to our destination. The bartender in the lounge however was very friendly as were the check in staff. The hotel is located a bit out of the way in a very quiet area which seems to be more of a financial district. If you want to be in the action you will need to take a train."
