From lobby / carpark to check-in reception, it takes 1-2 lift to get there and it’s a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it’s all good.

This hotel is very close to Akasaka-mitsuke Station and the environment nearby is quiet. In the hotel there're some excellent restaurants too. Helpful staff and good service. This is the 2nd I stayed in here.
The view was absolutely beautiful. The amenities were clean and modern. The only suggestion is to extend the pool hours as this was a big attraction but we weren’t able to use it as it was often closed.
Good proximity to many subways, restaurants, convenience stores. Humidity in room was difficult, but Japan in July is very hot and humid

The view from the room and the garden are amazing. Sadly, that was all that was amazing. The free breakfast was ok. You get 3 places to choose from, a traditional Japanese breakfast restaurant, a small breakfast buffet, and a medium sized breakfast buffet. The huge breakfast buffet shown in the photos costs an extra $20 per person! We did not try it and stuck with the free medium option. There was an acceptable selection of food options and the food was generally ok. Not great as expected from a hotel of this level, just mediocre. There is not an omelette station. This was disappointing. The individual food items were not at the quality expected for what this hotel represents. Combined with the room experience and this hotel leaves you with a 2 star hotel wrapped in 4 star wrapping paper. The grounds around the hotel are amazing. The rooms were extremely lacking in proper repair and maintenance. Repairs were poorly performed. There was rough patch work in places, lack of caulking in the tub. The provided body wash and shampoo was of the type you would get at a cheap motel in the states. Our room was spacious with a great view, but otherwise felt almost like a bait and switch. The shops and restaurants all match with what you would expect from this caliber of hotel, with prices to match. It is truly disappointing how they are neglecting the rooms.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in June 2025. What we liked the most about this hotel was the ambience and the view. The room was also quite clean, and then room service was good.
What we did not like about it is as follows:
1) they charge extra for breakfast for guests 5 yrs old and younger. At least in one other hotel in Japan we used the breakfast was free for young kids
2) while this hotel is close to the metro stations, it is not close to the convenience stores like 7-11, everything close by this hotel and in the building is very expensive.
3) the reception staff could not speak English very well, so was difficult communicating with them!

the location of this property is close to metro station, about 5 minutes walking distance. the Japanese garden on the property is amazing and rarely found with hotels in Tokyo area. the area is quite as compare to hotels in Shinjuku. there are restaurants across the bridge after couple traffic lights, a Bic Camera store is also there. the only complaint is the rooms seem to be dated and could use some refresh. room size is good for two twin beds with still space to move around. they have two connected rooms (adjacent) option in case you need two rooms
