I was looking for an inexpensive room that was close to the rental car drop off location. I had low expectations of the room I would get. I was pleasantly surprised to get a room that had undergone a relatively recent renovation. It was clean, and well set up. Roomy. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, nor does this place fit that description but I will likely stay there again as it was far above what was expected.

It’s close to the bus stop so it’s easy to get to sofi stadium. The room was spacious and clean. Definitely a good property of you are in town for a game or concert. The airport shuttle bus is also convenient.

The property is a little outdated. The smell of it was definitely old ocean sea water as you enter. The kitchen and common area is also outdated but for the overall price it was well worth it. We had gotten the comfort room and it was on the opposite side of where all the pubs are so it was quiet and we slept through the night. The view of our room was awesome. It is convenient as it close to the pier and many of the dining options. Parking wasn’t so bad because surrounding areas had 24 hour...

Clean, quiet, and my bunk mates are courteous and friendly! It’s nice to meet people from different parts of the world. The location is great! Walking distance to many things. My first experience in a hostel! Will do it again!

I showed up at the Royal Palace with my back completely thrown out while on a solo roadtrip and was very moved by the staff's kindness. They helped me get into my room early so I could lie down, and when it unexpectedly got much worse they helped me extend my stay and even brought me a fork when my food delivery was missing one! I will absolutely be back and especially recommend the Royal Palace to anyone dealing with medical stuff or disabilities. They were so understanding and nice which made...

initially, I was upset because I was charged then told that my reservation was not in the system. Upon further review, the manager quickly alerted me that I had booked for Sunday and not Saturday as I had originally thought. she was patient and very professional and accommodating me although it was my error. I owe her tremendous gratitude and great customer service followed. The room I had was clean recently remodeled and she took a negative and turned to a positive. Thank you both.

We stayed for a week during our spring break. First time visiting LA. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast buffet was great and they never ran out of food. The ladies that worked breakfast kept everything stocked until right at 10 am when breakfast was over. The pool is quite small and we didn't use it, although we did sit by the pool most mornings before our outings for some fresh air. Tons of walkable restaurants around the hotel. Also easy pick up for Uber/Lyft. In general the hotel/our...

Parking should be included with the stay..and cashless at the bar and cafe is not cool. Especially when they have a cash tip box on the counter. So many dinning options in walking distance was nice!
