"Enjoyed dinner at the hotel because of our late arrival food was delicious. A lot of shopping on King Street. Great location. We’ve stayed three times at Francis Marion Hotel. Enjoyed every minute."

"The Meeting Street Inn is a very unique and pretty hotel. It’s close to restaurants and the market place. However it is not a quiet place. The floors squeak and the trash trucks and fire trucks go down the street with their sirens every day. The rooms are not well insulated so it is frequently noisy with constant coming and goings. The breakfast is good, the wine and cheese reception is good and the nightly cookies were good. However our very first night the power went out due to an accident involving the transformer. Apparently this has happened before but there didn’t seem to be any kind of a plan to deal with getting guests to their rooms or communicating to the guests what happened and how to handle it. Definitely room for improvement."
