"The staff were AMAZING!! Everything about our stay was awesome, the room, the pools, the beach!! A lot of resorts have okay food, but the food here was SO good!! All in all an amazing stay, will definitely be booking Sunscape for our next Cancun visit :)"

"We booked this hotel through Expedia and arrived around noon, but we were told we had to wait until 3 p.m. to check in. They offered no flexibility; if we wanted early check-in, it was $20 per hour. Even though they said the hotel was 60% full, many families, like us, were waiting in the lobby until the 3 p.m. rush. It was ridiculous—if rooms were ready, they should have let us check in sooner, instead of holding everyone until the same time. That night, we were also told we had to move our car because of supposed construction work. Despite our plan to leave the next day, they insisted we had to move it that night and pay for parking at a lot next door. We asked why we should pay,you guys at the hotel should pay, but they refused. So, we set an alarm for 6 a.m. to handle it. When we arrived, the parking lot next door had no idea about the arrangement. After going back and forth for an hour, the morning shift still didn’t have answers. Eventually, one employee with good English helped us park, but it was a total mess. By the time we left at noon, there was no construction at all. The poor management was obvious—no communication, and the front desk staff was left stranded. While the room itself was fine, the overall experience was exhausting and poorly organized. I wouldn't recommend this hotel... But Valentina at the front desk was very sweet"

"las habitaciones ya se ven muy descuidadas, con falta de mantenimiento, pero están limpias. el problema es que se escucha todo, literalmente si están viendo la televisión en el cuarto de a lado se escucha en tu habitación, así que no puedes descansar en las noches por todo el ruido de afuera. La comida es decente, es una buena relación calidad-precio. No es un hotel caro, así que no esperes demasiado"

"Overall, my experience at Riu Palace Las Americas was good, but it really depends on what kind of trip you’re looking for. This hotel has a much more laid-back atmosphere, making it ideal for older travelers and couples who want to relax. If you’re expecting a lively, party-style resort, this is definitely not it. That said, there were a few issues that stood out. When I arrived, my patio furniture was oddly placed inside the room instead of out on the patio, which was inconvenient. The shower also wasn’t in the best condition—there was a noticeable pile of dirt in the corner, which was disappointing. Additionally, the lighting throughout the room could be improved, as it felt dim and not very inviting. One of the biggest drawbacks was the air conditioning—it doesn’t go lower than 73°, and that limit seems to apply across the entire hotel, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. In summary, while the resort has a calm and pleasant vibe, there are some maintenance and comfort issues that could be addressed to improve the overall experience."

"At the checkout they charge me $207. Because one of those nights during my sleep I get bleeding nose and I got dirty pillow and sheets . I felt so bad what I did but I left a good tips for cleaning people.On the end I got nice surprise $207. None excuse. They told me I already signed the papers when I checked in. Never again."
