"The property was very well located. It was a short walk to restaurants, shops and public transportation. Check-in was virtual, easy and convenient. The property manager checked with us shortly after arriving to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Highly recommend. "

"The staff were welcoming, competent and accommodating, and the property was exceptionally clean. The location is excellent, with many attractions, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast each morning was a nice touch. Parking is limited, but overall this hotel provided a comfortable stay. Would book again "
"The room was clean, staff was friendly, we were only there for one night and morning so we didn’t get a chance to use the amenities but the pool area looked nice too."
"We had a one night stay at the Chancellor hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and tidy. There is no AC in the room but it didn’t bother us in late September. We came here mainly for a concert at the Masonic and it is close to the hotel. The area around the hotel seems safe. We walked around to the Chinatown, little Italy and pier 39-all walkable. Definitely recommend this hotel!"
"You need to stay here !! So beautiful, like a trip back in time - feels like coming home. Comfy and gorgeous rooms, gourmet and yummy breakfast, jacuzzi in a quiet garden, close to so many restaurants and shops in the Mission district, and the friendly staff and owner puts it over the top. Walking distance to a couple BART stations. You won't find a nicer stay."
"The pics of the hotel are from a time when the hotel was “younger”. Its lobby is well worn. The “sister” hotel across the street is run down also and even though the website mentions a restaurant located at theirs, it does not exist!
Safety is definitely an issue on the street. "
