The pictures and ratings are so misleading. They advertise on-site parking for $30 a night. We chose this hotel for the location, the cost of parking, and the safety of on-site parking. What they don't tell you is that their parking garage is small, so it is first come, first serve.
When we arrived, we were told the garage is full, but there is parking on 6th st and Folsom and that it's just a block away. Its not a block away. Also, there was a sign stating that they were installing a new elevator so please use the stairs. The steep 2 foot steps in a narrow stairway.
Then, we get to our room, and it smells musty and feels damp. I went to open the windows, there are no screens and there are pigeons making a home in the air conditioner. You can't make this $#!# up!!
We decided it was time to go out for a bit and take a breather. After, we parked my car in the $70 a night, sketchy parking lot with no security that they "recommended" and walked back to the hotel for the night just to also find out that the shower doesn't drain. It almost overflowed onto the bathroom floor. When we voiced our concerns, about everything, all we got was, "sorry for the inconvenience". "We will have the shower fixed tomorrow." So, my husband werd in a pool of dirty water. See picture.
Needless to say, we won't be back. I could have stayed at a Hilton with better service and parking, if I had known I was going to get this kind of service and then have to spend over $140 just in parking fees alone.
