"Room was clean, the refillable water station was a nice touch in the lobby. It was in the middle of the shopping and right next to the trolley. Staff was very pleasant and there was off site parking not far from the hotel. Property has an old 1910's vibe. "

"The cliff hotel is one of my favorite hotels in San Francisco. My wife and I had a fantastic time. We got a complementary upgrade and it was a wonderful experience. It started with how they took care of our luggage arriving and departing, as well as everything in between we will certainly be back in the future."

"On the first day when we arrived, they gave us a room, but when we went upstairs the room had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room. We moved into the new room and later that night, around 11 PM, someone started banging very hard on our door and then ran away. We opened the door but no one was there."
