Comfortable beds and pillows! All very clean, complimentary coffee, tea, water, cookies and apples, lovely staff, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Close to everything, great place to use as base to discover San Francisco. Definitely recommendation and will be back next time!

I stayed at this gem in the heart of downtown San Fran as part of my birthday trip on the West Coast. Everything was excellent about my stay here from the cleanliness, the beautiful historic decor, convenience and closeness to restaurants/attractions. Without hesitation the front desk let us check in early. The hotel were great and very welcoming during our entire stay. Right down the street from union square it was close to everything and super convenient. Definitely staying here on our next trip!

Great stay! We found this place last year when our usual hotel was full, and it’s become a favorite. Clean, convenient, and comfortable even without AC — the ceiling fan worked great in October. Loved the free cookies, popcorn, water and coffee! There are some friendly staffs too. Just wish they’d update the elevator. Will definitely stay again next year!
