We recently stayed at the Embassy Hotel in San Francisco and it was one of the best customer service experiences that we ever had. Every staff member—from the front desk to housekeeping—was genuinely kind, patient, and helpful. You can tell they take pride in treating guests well. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and our room was comfortable and quiet. For the value and the level of service we received, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco!!

The hotel itself is very old-fashioned if you like that type of aesthetic. When we arrive at 11:30 on Saturday night, the room was not ready and was not cleaned. A maintenance worker was the one who cleaned the room and we had to wait 40 minutes to finally get in our room.. the area we stay was kind of shady a lot of homeless in the area. when it was time to take a shower, it took 10 to 15 minutes for the water to get warm and the drain in the shower tub took forever to drain. The room served itspurpose for myself, my daughter and her girlfriend as we stayed two nights to enjoy a concert at the Chase Arena. For paying $30 a day for parking in their parking lot it took 20 minutes for my daughter to convey the message to the attendant at night to open the parking lot gate. I didn’t think the attendant at the front desk understood English I will never stay in this hotel ever again, even if it was offered to me for free.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve never had to take 4 times my normal allergy meds until now. The room smelled terrible (mold, dust, cigarettes) no heat, mattress you could feel every spring in the bed. Plug ins missing face plates. We were so tired when we landed we suffered through 1 night and checked out early to stay somewhere that I don’t have to be medicated to breathe. Definitely top 2 of worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. 2 days later I’m still medicated heavily for my mold allergies and need a breathing treatment. Photos on Expedia and Google are very misleading.

Everything above the lobby is so old and pooly maintained. The room was smelly, the radiator kept getting off in the middle of all 3 nights we were staying there and it was cold! There are now iron or hairdryer in the room.

Toilet paper holder was broken . There was a broom left in the room. No AC in rooms. When I called they said they could provide a fan when i got there. I asked they said they would check dtorage they informed me they had none. Room was hot so we had to leave windows open. By us doing this we did not get much slerp because we could now hear all the noise outside. Towels were big but worn put 1 of them tore on us. Hotel was old which i LOVED i just thought of the history in it.

The hotel seems to be a swing between owners. I ended up 2 rooms as the first one was not secure between adjoining units. Both seemed to have rough patching and be partially clean. Electrical outlets were not covered, lights had exposed wires, holes in walls either recently patch are still waiting, stains on floors and cloth in the rooms, different sized tvs, and limited air flow.

The staff is really kind but this hotel is super sketchy, old, and run down. The power outlets looked burnt. The lamp had no place to plug into and the key card needed to be reset every 4 hours and sometimes sooner. Super false advertising compared to the pictures!
