"The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean with parking in front of your room. We really enjoyed the beds and bedding which were extremely comfortable! They had a free hot breakfast of eggs, sausage and waffles along with coffee, juice and cold cereal options. A very nice dog park is on the property and fenced. Bathroom towels were nice but only the minimal toiletries were supplied, one small bar of soap and a shampoo/conditioner dispenser in shower. We appreciated the tissue dispenser in the dressing area. Please note: a notepad, pencil/pen, laundry bag or extra trash can liners not supplied in the room but would be helpful and nice to have available if needed. We were disappointed to find the pool was closed, the soda vending machine close to our room was not working and the laundry room was not in service (door knob removed). These should have been available as described in the hotel amenities. The Hotel shuttle service is $5 per room per day for transportation to the Fort and St. George Street area which is an excellent service provided. You should plan on using the shuttle or driving to the historic section for it is NOT within walking distance from hotel. You'll find Parking is expensive and difficult to locate, especially at night in the historic downtown."

"Upon checking in, the lobby was clean and the staff member was pleasant. Check in was fairly simple. We were given our room cards and a slip with the wifi information/password on it. The wifi never worked. Room was clean, no frills, which was fine. First night, the Television stopped working. Next morning, went to the free breakfast in the lobby. Way below average. It is understood that typically the free breakfasts that are offered are not gourmet or fancy - that was not the expectation. However, this free breakfast was truly not good. The eggs and the sausage were basically rubber. We opted to go out to breakfast the following morning. We notified the front desk of the television issue and the maintenance man came out and fixed. He was very helpful and pleasant. No real issues with the staff, they were nice, however, front desk did not really want to help. Asked them how to get to a certain tourist spot (which was only about 8 minutes from the hotel and was told to Google it. They do allow dogs, which is great for dog owners. We had some dogs below us and all night heard barking and whining. Was not the right hotel for us and we will more than likely not be back, even though the price was fair."

"We enjoyed the quiet room since it was facing away from the highway traffic. Hence, our sleep was restorative to help us with the next day's travels. We were pleasantly surprised to find laundry facilities onsite, which allowed us to wash necessary clothes foe our push homeward. Finally, the hot breakfast bar was a treat!"

"Our air conditioner was noisy and seem to slow down at night. Would have complained but it was close to the end of our trip. Also had freight train going by a few feet from our room. The staff was good and room was clean. "

"Probably the worst hotel room I’ve personally stayed in. Desk/ desk lamp table power outlet non-functional, shower handle broken to a state it was nearly inoperable, window drapes left huge openings that allowed very bright lights in all night. Cleaning staff cleaned room once over 5 night stay. Stay away from this one."

"Pulled in only to immediately realize the MOTEL (Not Hotel) was nothing like its pictures. As I said, this is a MOTEL, the room was less than basic, just white walls and a bed. There are no curtains and the blinds do nothing so the room is bright all night. The one ice machine was across the parking lot so getting ice in a downpour was a challenge. Hallways to get to different locations were sketchy, dark, dirty and smelled horrible. Add the number of patrons hanging around smoking blunts and you have quite the atmosphere. Last, you have to give a LOT of credit tot eh person who took the pictures as they made everything look amazing (which is was not) and this definitely includes the pool. This gets 1 star only because the guy that checked us in gave us an upgrade from the tomb we were initially assigned which was down pot aisle. Think twice before booking!!!!"
