"The hotel and area were beautiful; however, I did not think the price, around $600 a night, was at all worth the stay. There were no additional perks, such as a welcome or nightly reception. With $45 a night for parking as well, it was a bit of a disappointment. We love the area, but will be looking for accommodations that seem more reasonable next time."

"This is a charming boutique hotel on a quiet street, surrounded by colonial homes. It is just blocks away from the Wharfs and restaurants. The rooms are loft style and spacious. Really a great location from walking to historic sites to shopping. It is a 10 minute drive to the famous Mansion area."

"Marriott was a wonderful spot for our stay in Newport! Central to all the activities - restaurants and bars — shopping etc. Across from the ballpark was fun!! Took in a Gulls game too. Amenities were wonderful - new outside area next to indoor salt water pool was perfect. "
