「I stay here every year, usually 2x a year, with my family. Weve always loved it, but since By the Sea Resorts bought Palmetto Inn too, it seems to slowly be going down. The staff is great. The room was clean. Really the only issue was that the mattresses absolutely suck. The pillows were equally as horrible & uncomfortable. Im unsure what happened, as the beds were great even as recently as October 2025. And as much as they've raised their prices, a decent bed & pillows shouldny be too much to...

「The room was clean, and the breakfast was very good—though there is a charge for it. They have a shuttle cart to take you to the beach, which is a 5-to-10-minute walk away. They charge $5 per day for parking, but the lot is good and secure. The area is nice; there are shops right across the street, and several different restaurants within walking distance.」

「The hotel has a nice views. Well maintained, the staff have no decency and sometimes rude. Bottom line , they don’t want to help. The beach is nice, this property is for one time stay, definitely, will not repeat it. I am a diamond Hilton member and travel the world with Hilton, this one is suboptimal. 」

「the room was musky, there were roaches in room 229. the bathtub was cracked and rusted around the drain. there was a drain clog, or backup in courtyard in front of my room, that smelled. 」

「There was a lot to do, but it was so spread out and getting around was difficult. Unless you want to walk a ton of miles, you need to take a shuttle to get to places which takes like 20 min for 2 miles with al the stops 」
