  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

This hotel is a little older, but it's completely worth the cost if you want a nice large heated pool & to have the beach steps away. The room had a mini kitchen which was nice, good water pressure and plenty of hot water as well. I will be returning.

Room was not clean. the lady at the front desk was sooooo rude. even to the other guests who were in line in front of me. ended up checking out at 5am. room was nothing like i expected. -mold on bedding -hair in shower -mold on ceiling -shower would not drain -front desk didn’t want to hear my complaints. i’m very upset as this was for my sister’s birthday. will not be back. please beware.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean. We had two rooms. One room had an A/C problem. It didn't work. Maintenance came and fixed the problem. The shower in that room did not work either. We were forced to take a bath. We reported it but it didn't get fixed. The other room had mold around the tub which we didn't get around to reporting. The hotel is old and not fancy, but it was generally clean and we thought it had a lot of character. We would stay there again.

The hotel was very dated, which I expected going in for the price. The issue I had was when we arrived, there were bags of trash piled around the doorway outside. One of the beds had a giant, round, wet pee looking stain on the comforter that soaked thru to the mattress. The room was damp and had water puddled in the floor. The front desk staff that helped me leave immediately was helpful and friendly. The girl who checked us in, not so much.

Do not stay here . Expedia should not offer this property. Where to start? It’s run down and old. Trash everywhere on outside of property. The room was dirty, sheets were stained and there are wires going everywhere to hook up electronics . Outside there is trash everywhere, the pool was nasty, and the pool chair cushions were dirty and stained. I was scared to stay there and did not feel safe. It was an awful experience . I wish Expedia the owner of property would contact me. Not the manager of the property . No help

The room was dirty, bugs ,we have videos and pictures, we where told to stay in that room 219 until the next day or leave because they don't have other one because they over sold , so we left the hotel, the name the manager is Mr BILLS phone number 850 234 2174.,they offer room number 223 same condition. Dust, spiders, bugs, discosting filthy. The dates 12-26-2025 to 12-29-2025.

I’ll start by saying this hotel is in a great location with amazing beach access. This is a great place for couples or someone just getting away for a few days. We did encounter problems along the way. Check in is at 4, we were informed that our room was “not available” and the front desk acted as if we didn’t have a room at all. When trying to get information, he was not clear and almost avoided any questions. We were finally able to check in 2 hours later. The room was poor. Patchwork on the walls that had not been repainted, it smelled awful (almost like sewage and mildew), water pressure was horrible and the shower was questionable. Also the room needed to be dusted. Also, be aware there are no elevators- so toting luggage up and down is not fun. One of our friends actually fell. Three times, the water was also shut off due to an “emergency.” Overall, it was okay. It was fine for sleeping, but could definitely use some upgrades.

The front desk clerk did not speak English. Room was only partial view. King bed was made with queen sheets. We were given 3 towels for 2 people for 3 days and 1 roll toilet paper, left on the bed. Furniture old, couch sunk down to bed underneath with a big squeak. Very unwelcoming.
