I stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and Tower in Panama City Beach and was extremely disappointed. The property was advertised as a hotel, but in reality it is much closer to a motel, and all charges appeared under a motel name, which felt misleading. The room did not match the photos online. The microwave was rusty, the room was dirty upon arrival, and we encountered bugs, including finding a bug inside the coffee maker, which was extremely unsanitary. The air conditioner had visible mold entering the unit from the back of the building, which is a serious concern. Housekeeping was essentially nonexistent. After turning in our dirty towels, we requested clean towels four separate times and never received them. When we finally went to the maintenance office ourselves, it still felt like pulling teeth just to get towels, which should never be an issue at any hotel. We also requested room cleaning, but no one ever came. On the last night, the fire alarms chirped all night, making it impossible to sleep. I attempted to speak with a manager four times on 12/30/25, 12/31/25, and twice on 1/1/25. Each time, I was told the manager was unavailable. I requested a callback and never received one. Between the misleading advertising, poor cleanliness, unsanitary conditions, lack of basic service, and complete lack of management response, I would not recommend staying here.

We were very impressed with the Flamingo Hotel and tower. The Room was very nice and the Staff all friendly and helpful. Amenities were great. The cost was less than most chain hotels. Though it is obviously an old hotel, with general wear and tear, everything worked and was very clean. Both my husband and I remarked all week what a great choice we made staying here !!

Room is dirty. Furniture is outdated but I know you got what you paid for. Would I go back again? No. They have soap and shampoo and conditioner. Good for dog people. Stay with dog is the building in the back on the other side of the road, not on the beach. Room is big, 2 beds, kitchen and a bathroom. There is backyard for dog area to poo, but it’s full of dog poop everywhere. Other area to walk dog is by the road, partial sidewalk and parking spots. Friendly and helpful staffs. We did not ask for anything much just some questions and some soaps and shampoo. A lady who was cleaning the pool area on 12/27/25 offered to hold the hose for me to clean sand off my feet & shoes. I did not expect that. Thank you!

I would like to start by saying I was very disappointed with this hotel. The room # we stayed in was 217. The room was very dirty.the sofa in the room should be thrown in the garbage it was very dirty and nasty. had stains..The towels were very worn out an had yellow stains on them. The bottom of the bed skirt had white stains on it. The bathroom door had a hole in it , the bottom of the toilet had stains on it. The pool was empty. I ended up buying towels pillow cases, 2 blankets and Clorox wipes in target .. if I could give it less than a star I would ..I would not recommend this hotel..

Most of representatives are great, but the room quality isn’t good. I and my friends booked this hotel for many times per year, almost 2-3 times per month. Lots of times, we requested to change room (we saw tons of rooms being still available), just because of the problems of the AC, bathrooms, or bad smells on sofa/ beds, but we never get the things done. My friends already told they never come back here again. I still sometimes book this hotel because it’s close to the pier we go fishing, but not really satisfied.

i stayed in room 105 and room 102 both were amazing! room 105 was small definitely for 2 people and the beach access was right out the door. room 102 was right down the hall, it was a 2 bed with a kitchenette very spacious! the pools are both great and the hot tub is hot! staff was all very nice and i was able to check in at 12 when check in is after 2. it’s a bit outdated but the price is great and the layout makes it so much more special. i booked this hotel because it was pet friendly but unfortunately it is listen in the terms and conditions no pets but i brought my pup and everyone seemed okay with it and i also seen a few other dogs as well. overall a good stay
