「We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. 「The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.」

Knocked 1 star off service not because there was anything wrong but just seems odd to say it was excellent when my only interaction consisted if being issued with a key. 「Fantastic pet friendly hotel, amazing food, great walks outside, great extras, love the pantry’s and the boots for free hire, the games in the lounge and the free night cap, to be super picky the only complain I could have is the outside hot tubs need a good clean and sadly while I was their only one was working which may be the reason for the tub needing cleaning due to over use. But it still gets 5 stars from me as the rest was stellar quality. 」
