We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury.

Parcheggio comodo, personale accogliente e disponibile e sia la cena che la colazione ottime. Peccato che l’insieme della struttura sembra un po' decadente e trascurata, insomma poco pulita.

Our long lasting impression will be the excellent attentive, helpful and friendliness of all the staff we encountered. Also, the hotel location was perfectly placed next to the beautiful river Avon and with easy walking distance to the centre of Salisbury.

Lovely room and en-suite. Very old so inevitable creaky floorboards above us but otherwise quiet. Very nice staff and breakfast. Ample parking, not sure about cost as had a deal. Easy walk to city centre and plenty of shops

Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Parking was extra (£5- day) The room (deluxe ) was a little tired and the bath chipped. In a very old building it would have been nice to have had a small refrigerator to cool the water provided as it was very hot and, as usual, in the UK not air conditioned. The outside seating area was wonderful and cool in the evening. The breakfast was great
