Great little hotel for our overnight stay. Friendly staff, generous sized room with a comfy bed and plenty of storage and extra seating. Very good choice of items for breakfast, all nice and fresh. Great value for money.

Well located on a quiet street (St Peter’s) close to the High Street w/shops, bakeries, restaurants galore. Historic property from 1500’s renovated and renovated but still felt the history. Rooms down this or that twisty hallway are pretty much the same size, just large enough, Room w/garden view would be preferable. No robes or slippers but tea pot and biscuits in rooms. Off street parking, although we didn’t use it. Need to be a bit careful in bathroom as shower can spray outside of glass barrier, but manageable. Front desk staff helpful. Customer service oriented. Nice stay.

The hotel entrance has the feel of an old coaching inn and very well located for exploring central Winchester and the wider area. The car park is a useful addition to the offering. The walled garden at the rear of the hotel bar/restaurant a lovely haven and a great place to unwind;weather permitting. The buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day and was well managed by the staff. Room was comfortable, but could do with another easy chair rather than just one. A great place to stay in Winchester

Car Park was small and not free. The hotel had another car park but it was not easy to get to although we were given a map. Lots of one way streets… Although we booked twin rooms they did not have any when we got there but got free upgrade to garden view room super king and complimentary drinks.

Hotellet är ett klassiskt gammalt engelskt hotell, rummen är rumliga men saknar tyvärr luftkonditionering vilket var ett problem då det var 31 grader i Winchester. Trevlig trädgård och centralt i Winchester.
