「Great location. Nice ambiance. Parking is so expensive and you are expected to tip the valet with pick drop off and pick up. Our rooms balcony was overlooking the air conditioners and so was blocked off to any view, very disappointing.」

The pool is excellent, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location is perfect, water views while being a short walk to Charleston's best restaurants and shopping. 「We loved our stay at The Ryder Hotel—it is a super cute and conveniently located hotel. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are great, and the staff is very helpful. My one piece of advice is to get to the pool early if you want a lounge chair as it is pretty small and fills up quickly!」

There was a happy hour with wine, beer and charcuterie each evening. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern and a good size. It's actually the room was bigger than I anticipated. It was only me for the couch, the microwave, the sitting there was pretty cool to have-- I'm saving up to go back. I really enjoyed it.
