"Bathrooms need upgrades because it back in late 70s to 80s bath and toilet and sink. But everything else was good for the money. There bar losing money because of the management which I find very strange. Good hotel need to do more for guests"

"The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom could have done with better clean. Rogue hairs on floor but everywhere else good. Apart from mosquito that ate me alive nothing but good to say. Ate in restaurant. Food good but very slow service. 55 mins for simple order. Would recommend overall"

"Beautiful hotel. Our bedroom was on the side of the road on the second floor which did get very noisy at times. Our bedroom was lovely but the bed had a few issues with the topper and mattress not being the best. Making you feel as though you would fall out of the bed. Aircon was good but worked intermittent as it was over working due to heat. Breakfast was lovely but the juices were warm. We had dinner which was nice during our stay. Lift is quirky but great."

"Great staff, location and refurbishment. Food, drink, garden and leisure facilities excellent and the whole team couldn't be more helpful. Useful perks like free water, good tea and coffee tray, an actual bath and £5 off you don't have your room cleaned to spend on food or drink. Can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!"

"Lovely staff. Unfortunately we stayed when it was very hot. Photos of rooms at the level we stayed at were slightly deceptive - ours was quite small compared to others shown which was disappointing. The fan in the room was not maintained and despite a request it was not swooped. Aircon would be great at the windows do not allow any breeze due to how they open. Sad not to be able to eat outside in the garden where it was cooler than the restaurant."
