No wardrobe two people couldn’t pass by the bottom of the bed at the same time, luckily my wife and I are not big anyone bigger would have trouble. As we were only staying for 2 nights we decided to put up with it. Have to say the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the our breakfast’s and dinner."

"This hotel is quintessentially British. It’s a in a perfect location for the new forest. We were a family of the 3. 2 adults and a 16 great old. The room Was on the ground floor (135) great location within the hotel. Until the evening when we were kept awake for 2 nights by the guests upstiars! You have to make allowances for creaks and noises as it’s an old building but blimey I thought people were going to come through the ceiling. They obviously had a young child above us which was not ideal. And our bed was horrendous. It was like laying on the bed base. But apart from Those 2 things hotel was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were super friendly and the whole place was lovey and clean."

Fans were provided but were very noisy… it was during the heatwave. Would definitely stay again as the location was great and the hotel car park was close and free!"
