Excellent stay at Cottage Lodge

Had a great stay in a beautiful room. Was made so welcome with coffee and cake on arrival and my name of a parking space. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely use the hotel next time I'm in the New Forest. My only complaint - I wasn't there long enough.

This is a lovely place to stay and in a fabulous location. The personalised parking space is a really nice touch and the food was very good indeed. Staff were polite and helpful and the owner very professional and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!

What a lovely hotel this is, it was a pleasure to meet the staff who were all just so friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was simply fabulous. Perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the New Forest, within a stones throw of the village and pubs. We will most definitely be back.

Lovely Winter Stay

My stay at Cottage Lodge was short and sweet (2 nights). The check-in was welcoming, enhanced by a lovely cup of tea and cake. The room (William 1st) was very spacious with all the basic amenities, e.g. coffee-making facilities, towel warmers, heater, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and delivered with a smile. Highly recommend and hope to be back with friends in the spring or summer.

A very compact cottage Hotel in a very pleasant village with a most welcoming Manager and staff, not to mention Morritzi’s (so sorry if I have misspelt his name) friendly dog called Pluto! Very stylish decor in the Dining room with such relaxing background music was a delight. White tails restaurant was very good with a great cuisine.

The hotel was easy to find and it was very easy to wander around Brockenhurst and to get out and about in The New Forest. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. I sure we will return.

Lovely property, staff very attentive. Only real issue was whilst in our room you could at times hear other people's conversations, perhaps soundproofing under the floorboards may help - I do realise it is an old building.

Birthday break

Could not find a nicer hotel if you tried. The hosts were exceptional, always time to talk, they gave us ideas and directions of places to go. The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious, light and airy. Breakfast was very good, continental and English. We especially recommend the preserves on sale, the marmalades are sweetened with honey and are lovely. We would definitely stay again.

The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. Our room was small, but the use of space was comfortable and linens were very nice. Reserved parking (with name) was an added treat. The staff was kind and very attentive. If I could change one thing, it would be the reservation needed for breakfast.
