Lovely place to spend a weekend in Bournemouth. Chose it for its proximity to Alum Chine beach. Having the pool was definitely a bonus and we made use of it every day. Breakfast was good too, nothing too fancy though. Good value for money!

Great location just a short walk from the beach at Alum Chine. Nice family friendly facilities with bar with games room and indoor swimming pool. The only complaint was that the room was very stuffy and in the corridor it felt like the heating was on in the middle of summer. We opened a window and had the fan we found in the wardrobe running but it would’ve been quite unpleasant had we been there during a heatwave.

Nice hotel, slightly dated and kinda themed around an old cruise ship experience. Breakfast was good and it’s a clean place just needs a bit of modernisation

Lovely family short stay

We had an amazing one night stay in a family room with sea view and plenty of space. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and coffee facilities were welcome in the morning. Swimming pool was refreshing img although very strong smell of chlorine due to hot tub and no ventilation which did irritated my eyes a little bit. Very happy with our stay, wish I could stay longer. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The property is dated but has been maintained to a good standard. My room was comfortable with good sized balcony with a view towards the sea. The staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and only a short walk to the beach. Also, good value for money when you look at other Bournemouth/Poole hotels.

Good location but needs an uplift

Good location, but not enough parking for amount of guests staying. Whilst free on road parking is suggested, it is impossible to park in close proximity to hotel on a sunny day due to beach goers. It would be useful to warn guests of this in advance. Friendly staff. The hotel is in need of a refurb, very tired throughout and the room needs a major upgrade. Mattresses are well worn and on a hot day the room is very uncomfortable due to lack of air conditioning. Bathrooms are well worn, making them look dirty. Average stay but a refurb would improve things.

Would stay again

freindly and efficient staff clean room and bathroom .0Bed was comfortable and bedding was clean and in great condition. Bar area was nice and open with a reasonable selection of drinks and a nice enough menu (The fish and chips I had where the best i have had in a long time a Jumbo option would have been nice).

Riviera hotel Bournemouth

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Riviera hotel Bournemouth. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. The hotel was clean, as we're the rooms. The Breakfast was very good, and quality items available. We used the swimming pool, although a little cool, it was nice. Definitely would stay again

Excellent Hotel and service

We were on a family trip, and chose the hotel for the indoor pool, was affordable and close to beach. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and breakfast was excellent. We will stay again. Highly recommend.
