The room was really clean and had a courtyard for our dog which was great. Great comfortable bed and all staff very helpful. 1 or 2 negatives ... £15.00 per night car park is crazy . . Very expensive breakfast we didn't have but looked delicious. Only 6 car park spaces Britannia car park near by. Lovely break beautiful Hotel ... very hard to find !

Really enjoyed the selection at breakfast. Was kindly upgraded to a deluxe room with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Comfy bed with nice linens etc. A lovely stay.

Deluxe room was spotless, however, the shower mixer failed to cool the water to a comfortable temperature. Also, we were unable to switch off the air conditioner fan overnight and understand that we should have been instructed on its operation. Both these issues were reported to management. Staff were very courteous and service was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay at an excellent hotel.

Always a good stay here. Room was nicer than the last time we visited, staff are always friendly although the young waitress seemed very quiet. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times as i couldnt hear her. Other than that its a great stay. The bar staff are good and makes a wicked whiskey sour. Well worth a try. Parking is a waste of time. Only 6 spaces so you will be lucky.

Great stay - in particular, the barman (Zack) was excellent and a good ambassador for the hotel and the brand. All staff we friendly and the hotel was convenient to the old town. The breakfast at £24 pp was a little expense and hence we had breakfast outside of the hotel, aside from this, it was an excellent stay
