Atmosphere is important and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. We went out of season so that may have made a difference to the dynamic. There was calm and peace both important to us. The breakfast was superb although I wanted to give some tips as to how to make the best scrambled eggs! You had to choose your time to use the pool as not always available but the gym was generally quiet. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Worth a visit

Lovely pool and a well-equipped gym. Staff and evening meal were superb! Some areas need a little TLC, but that's the same with most hotels in this price range.

Good location, public transport links, pool/gym/spa off road parking. All of these things influenced our choosing West cliff. We had not visited Bournemouth before. We would use it again if in the area.

The room was clean, most of the staff were helpful, except one lady in the restaurant. Pool was clean. I struggled getting in the shower as it was over the bath. I have a bad leg. I used the shower by the pool instead. I should have asked for a disabled room, which I did not. Overall it was good. Food was reasonably priced, but drinks were very expensive.

All the staff were great, very friendly and nice to my kids. Pool warm and very nice. Family room spacious, bed comfy, not a great view! Good breakfast but could offer more than scrambled eggs and more fruit. Location is good, short walk to lovely beach.

Perfect! Some people expect to much.

Lovely stay! Large family room. The children enjoyed the swimmimg pool and used it both days. Cheap 24 hour parking. Couldnt fault. Will return.

The hotel is perfectly nice - room and bed comfortable. It is a bit tired and worn looking and maybe a refurb of the upstairs/bedrooms would be good. Carpets in corridors not great. A bit noisy from the road outside (I was in a room facing the road). Plus points are very nice little swimming pool - not too crowded. Staff all pleasant and friendly.

Lovely little hotel. Well appointed rooms and air conditioning was excellent. Staff always attentive and recommended a lovely Indian restaurant nearby. Slight disappointment with the breakfast as only served scrambled eggs with no other options
