For a breakfast, I was expecting a little more than granola, some fruit and a few pastries as well as bread. Coffee and orange juice are provided as well. Overall this is a nice place to stay, The rooms do not have a “Do Not Disturb” sign so if you don’t lock your door, expect the cleaning ladies to show up and open the door.

I arrived at the Hive Cancun a bit nervous and extremely tired as it was my first time there.. it wasn’t long that I was feeling better after meeting the hotel manager and started interacting with the great staff on site. Everyday I discovered new benefits of choosing this wonderful hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well thought out. I really liked the sliding door to help reduce noise at night and lighting features. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. You can enjoy sushi, spa services, money exchange and convenience stores all within steps. Uber was easy to use for this location and needed to get into the beaches etc. The price was very reasonable for my trip package so spending the extra money and time to go to local beaches and other attractions was well worth it 😊 Thank you Hive Cancun

There were stratches and alot of damage to the walls of the hotel. The walls are very thin, I could hear footsteps outside my door, conversations of the other guests and employees, the music being played by the hotel was extremely loud and not very conscious or considerate of all the guests who were not interested in hearing the music. The T.V was not preprogrammed for American guest and only offered Netflix that was mostly preoccupied by the other guests as the Netflix account stated " The number of people using the Netflix account has reached it max." I think the continental breakfast could have offered more than a couple of pastries and fruit. Perhaps maybe some pancakes, waffles, eggs, and/or bacon could have been great alternatives. These are cheap affordable options I believe that any hotel could rotate into their breakfast menu and offer without breaking the hotel's budget. The hotel seriously needs to consider adding "Do not disturb" signs for the front door. Twice I was barged in on by the maids when I was undressed or unpresentable. I know I am forgetting quite alot but I was very unimpressed by the service and quality of amenities offered by this hotel. Seeing how the surrounding restaurants, convenience stores, services, etc., were rather expensive, I think that the hotel could have been more accomodating. I actually think that the hotel drinks and food served at the bar were more expensive than the most of the surrounding establishments.
