Cross the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset to see the Manhattan skyline light up in golden hues. Wander through DUMBO's cobblestone streets, explore Prospect Park's hidden meadows, or catch local bands in Williamsburg's intimate music venues.
I love the energy of Williamsburg and downtown Brooklyn. Visited the newly restored Brooklyn Paramount Theater and was it ever gorgeous and the sound was really clear too. Lots of food options and people were very low key and friendly, helpful.

Visit Other Half Brewing if you haven't! it's just down the street just off Smith and is an incredible local brewery that I was very much looking forward to visiting while I was in town! There's also a location in Domino Park on the water.

Brooklyn is full of ethnic, dining and recreational options. Yes, many parts are noisy and even dirty, though many other areas are quiet, clean and even peaceful.

I'm from Brooklyn so I knew the terrain and what to expect. Sunset Park can look a little sketchy, but that ferry and Industry City were just AWESOME. Don't be a dope and you'll do just fine.
"The hotel is great, zero complaints and great value. The area around the hotel was a bit rundown and there was lots of construction. But it doesn’t affect the quality inside the hospital. There was no noise inside."
"If you’re looking for a spot that’s stylish, comfortable, and smack in the middle of all the action, the Pod Hotel in Williamsburg is it. The location couldn’t be better... surrounded by endless restaurants, bars, and hipster-chic vibes that scream Brooklyn.
A huge shoutout to Adrian at check-in, such a pleasure to interact with. I mentioned I was in town for training and needed a quiet place to study, and he went above and beyond to set me up somewhere peaceful. It paid off, I passed my training with flying colors!
The hotel’s aesthetic is gorgeous: colorful, vibrant, and undeniably Brooklyn, complete with Biggie Smalls art. They even have a reusable umbrella station you can access with your keycard, which is such a thoughtful touch!
My room was spotless. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom sparkled. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, extra toilet paper, and plenty of towels were all provided.
I’ll definitely be coming back, next time I plan to really take advantage of their beautiful common areas and dive into everything the neighborhood has to offer. Highly recommend!"
"Although the room was small, it had everything we needed. The property is well maintained and clean with a lounge by the entrance. Great place to stay in a busy Brooklyn area close to train stops. "
