「clean and modernized rooms. very quaint and well appointed. easy access off highway, great for one night stay or longer. surprised by the bagged snack upon check out. great snack for the road. Will stay again.」

「Room was great. Clean, with a comfy king bed, big screen smart TV, and a big bathroom with a nice shower. The breakfast was fantastic. Only negative was that the whole building was very very warm without it being hot outside (15c outside in June). It had an air conditioner unit in the room that blew cold, but it was very loud. Needed it running constantly otherwise the room heated up very fast from the rest of the building. Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine.」

「Weird check in process. You have to call them and they tell you what your room number is. You go up 14 stairs. The rooms all have keys in the doors which doesn't really feel safe. The room was good sized with microwave and mini fridge. The shower was small with very low water pressure and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. They're was coffee in the room but you have to go down the hall to the community coffee maker, but it was a Keurig and good coffee. The room was clean. It was...

「It’s important to contact them for entry to your room. They have a simple procedure. It would be helpful if your phone number or email is accessible for them to contact you. We had a lovely very comfortable suite. Balcony faced away from the view, but it was facing into the forest and was lovely and peaceful. The bed comfortable and the pillows were very nice. The restaurant in the building had delicious Indian Food.」

「The management hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The kitchenette equipment was missing some basic items , due to guests taking things , ( !? ) , but the management quickly provided some items needed. The suites are large and comfortably furnished, and the beds are too. The Lodge is very quiet and peaceful, and located very conveniently, walking distance to downtown and the Cowichan River ,and very near to the Highway 18 , to access driving Youbou or to Duncan and other...

「Straight up, I didn’t stay here; I booked it for my 71 year old dad on a ski trip. He drank a beer in the raucous hotel bar where there was live music, was asleep by 10 when the music stopped and the lady that owned the place hugged him goodbye. Simply put, this night’s stay gave him more ammo for story telling than the previous 10 days. Outstanding.」
