"The hotel over all was great - bed was comfortable, easy access, great location, clean, friendly staff. Our main issue is a noise complaint. We paid extra for the spacious garden suite, room 103A, but unfortunately the room is not soundproofed at all, and it’s inconveniently located right behind the reception wall. From the bed we were able to hear all conversations between staff and guests alike from 6am to 11pm. Every time any of the many doors would open or close, it would echo in the suite since the room door has a 3cm gap at the base. It seems they attempted to resolve the issue by providing a white noise machine on the bedside table. Also, neither of the two TV’s were connected to the internet, rendering them useless. I’d bet that the other rooms don’t have this particular noise issue, but beware the garden suite."
