Bernini Palace

"Overall, we had a great stay at Bernini Palace and really enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately, our final interaction left a bad taste in our mouths. After we had already checked out and were getting into our Uber, the doorman ran outside yelling and pointing at us, then aggressively gestured for us to come back inside. I followed him in, only for the front desk to immediately confirm that everything was fine and we were free to leave. There was no apology or explanation afterward. I understand that misunderstandings happen, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional, especially as the final impression of an otherwise excellent stay."

"Property is an older but well maintained building. Rooms are large and bathrooms are renovated. Staff is very helpful and polite. Only problem is that the air conditioning system wasn't adequate during the very hot August days and nights. Otherwise, a fine hotel."

"The time I stayed at this hotel it had a rating of 9.6 out of 10. This score is not good enough for what I experienced. I have traveled the world and I stayed in hotels from no stars to world elite hotels. This is the only hotel that deserves 10 out of 10."

"Outstanding service! I had a travel crisis and needed to figure out how to get an emergency passport. Samuele, at reception went completely above and beyond to help me research the process, print paperwork, and figure out my next steps. Exceptional staff and highly recommended!"

"The hotel is in a great spot if you want to be in the city center. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and overall it was a great space. I wish they had conditioner but I noticed that some of the hotels in Europe just don’t have conditioner. Some do and some don’t so if they did that would have been a bonus. I will say our bathroom was weird and I forgot to take a pic of it. It was different than what you see in the pictures for the comfort room that we picked. It was a small closet sized room that had the shower in the corner with a drain so even with towels surrounding the shower the floor would get wet and it was easy to slip. Other than that the room was perfect for what we needed it to be for our trip."

"Amazing hotel! The location is prime, views and steps to the Ponte Vecchio, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was attentive to our needs and made check in/out swift and seamless. Our room was an Arno-view room with a terrace and it was fabulous. A must-stay property in Firenze."
