The room that we were allocated was bright, clean well finished with quirky furniture and fittings. Breakfast every morning was a complete joy from the buffet bar selection to the homemade baking. 「It's always risky to choose a hotel in a foreign country from your computer, but I really lucked out on this choice. Hotel degli Orafi is a class operation in a perfect location. Right next to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum, blocks from the Duomo and a seemingly endless choice of restaurants. I stayed for one night in a really cute little room. Small, but so well appointed. I left for Tuscany for a week and returned for 2 nights. They upgraded me to a suite which was a real surprise but...

「The hotel is chic and beautiful. Room size is not big but well appointed. Room is clean and well maintained. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent and have easy access to most sightseeing spots and restaurants. 」
"The location is very good. All luxury shops are located near the hotel.
But the windows are not well soundproofed. Music from the restaurant near the hotel was so loud. You have to wait until 00:30 before the music stop then you can sleep.
The hotel female staff's attitude towards guests is rather cold
