"I would have given 5 stars, but the hotel is very outdated and needs room and pool maintenance ASAP. The rooms were clean, but everything feels old. Even the vanity sink was broken and they held together with glue so it wouldn’t fall apart. The pools are beautiful and big, BUT the inside surface is extremely damaged. They need to be replastered right away because the rough areas hurt your feet. The food was delicious I especially loved the taco restaurant near the pool. The pastor trompo was amazing. The main buffet had plenty of options, and the best part is that everything actually tasted delicious. Service was great; all the staff were very friendly and nice.I would come back only if upgrades are made to the entire hotel structure. Thank you."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Reserve Tower. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet throughout our visit. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered stunning views that made our stay even more enjoyable. Restaurants high end. A special thank you to Galindo, our concierge, who took outstanding care of us from start to finish. The concierge service operates through WhatsApp, which was incredibly convenient, and Galindo was always quick to respond, coordinate requests, and ensure everything we needed was taken care of promptly. His attention to detail and genuine care made us feel welcomed and valued. We truly appreciated the excellent hospitality and look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!"

"This was our first time visiting Mexico, and staying at the Royal Sands in Cancun made it an unforgettable experience! The resort was beautiful, and the overall service was outstanding. One thing we really appreciated was how clean and well maintained everything was. There was always someone working hard to make sure the resort stayed neat and spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special shout out to the Phase 1 pool staff; Pedro, Irvin, Miguel, Facundo, and Wilfredo for their amazing customer service and quick attention. They were always friendly, helpful, and made our time by the pool even better. The room service was also 5-star. Anytime we needed something, whether it was water, food, or an item for our room, it was delivered quickly and with great service. Our first trip to Mexico was a wonderful experience, and the Royal Sands played a big part in that. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cancun! One small downside was that the bar didn’t have music playing consistently. There were long periods without any music, which made the atmosphere feel a bit quiet and lowered the overall mood. Having music throughout the day would have created a more lively and enjoyable experience. Other than that everything was good in our opinion including drinks and food. The taco cart on Fridays is AMAZING best taco we had."

"My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff’s service was poor and needs significant improvement. The food quality also fell far below expectations, both at the buffet and in most of the restaurants. The only restaurant that truly stood out was the sushi restaurant, which was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are in need of maintenance. They feel outdated, and several things were not working properly, including the air conditioning and the shower fixtures. Considering the amount of revenue this hotel generates, I expected better-quality liquor options, as well as more activities and entertainment for both adults and children. Overall, I believe the hotel has potential, but it needs to invest more in its facilities, service, and dining experience to provide a stay that matches its reputation and price point."
