「The room had bad bugs. When it was reported to the front desk they were unable to do anything about it. We contacted Expedia and they reported that the hotel staff indicated the room was is good order. Why would we leave a "good order" room at 11:30 at night..IT HAD BE BUGS OVER OVER THE SHEETS!」

「There was no one there to get fresh towels or clean the room when we were out, without a do not disturb sign on the door. We had to wait until we were home to take a shower and also you had to flush the toilet twice to make it flush all the way」

「The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. When we first entered the room we did notice it looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned very well or it had been a while since guests had stayed in that room. The carpet needed vacuuming and the bathroom needed some cleaning also. More Handicapped parking spots would definitely be a plus. The amenities were great. And the 24 hour coffee in the lobby was a very big plus. Besides the room needing some cleaning and the parking everything was great.」

「We booked this hotel for a concert in Gainesville. When we arrived, there was five couples standing outside waiting to register. All of us needed to get to the concert in order to find parking before got too late. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one couple to be processed. The gentleman who worked there was very nice, but was working with extremely limited resources. I think he did the best he could, but the rooms were substandard, dirty, and we didn’t get our room till 1:30 in the morning....

If you are looking for warmth and charm, and want something that resonates the south with its pretty gardens, Spanish moss, and trickling fountains, then this is it. 「The front manager was very monotone and unenthusiastic whenever we interacted. She also has difficulty communicating with guests in a timely manner, evidently shown when we tried to call the front desk but had to wait extremely long for her to just pick up. Hotel-wise, they didn’t have any slippers even when requested. The breakfast was also only mediocre at best. Nothing terrible, but nothing exciting either. All in all, it was a very average experience.」
