「The hotel is five years old yet it looks and smells brand new. The beds were extremely comfortable, water pressure in the shower was excellent and the room was very clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the kids loved using the clean pool. We will definitely stay here again.」

「The Days Inn - Wyndham hotel here at Gainesville is in worst condition. The Bathroom, the room are terrible. It is not up to the mark. Can not use the toilet as it is in bad condition. The whole room was smelling like cigarette smoke. Unbearable smell.」

The TV didn't work the entire time we were there and the girl who was doing the breakfast was rude and miserable; I get being a server is difficult - I worked in the service industry for 18 years - she's either burnt out or just naturally has a terrible attitude. Overall it's a shrug.」

「Blue Gem motel was the perfect stay for us for our weekend event at Camp Kulaqua which was only a few minutes down the road. I was a lil hesitant since it was a “motel”. However the room was nicely decorated and spacious. The bed was a super comfy king bed. I travel a lot and was impressed with how comfortable I slept. The AC was nice and cold.
