Redondo Beach 4 Stars Hotels

"The property was nice and clean and conveniently located next to the airport. The parking is not complimentary but if you drive to the other side of the building it’s much cheaper to park compared to what the hotel charges. "

"Not place to get a drink or have a sit down meal until 4 pm. Pool area was a disaster with towels left everywhere and the used town bin overflowing. Had to clean up other peoples used towels to make a seat for us. And it wasn’t even busy. Heat pool is also not heated. Room and staff were great. Nice and close to airport. Decent place for the price."

"For a Hilton I would expect more such as the fridge that we had in there did not keep our drinks cold house leaving clean but not excellent because we found old Advils underneath our beds. We even found a dollar in between the mattress. It sucks that you have to pay for parking after you already paid so much for the rooms. No free breakfast I don't know for Hilton. I expected more for your buck. The one great thing is that it was close to universal studio so we didn't have to really walk far. There isn't really much close by restaurants for you to eat at besides the mall which is expensive because it's marked twice as much as you normally priced. So you would have to drive at least a few miles just to get some decent food"

"This hotel was super nice! I was not expecting so much history that had happened there but it’s a very iconic hotel. We love how beautiful and grand the hotel was right away in the lobby. The pool was fun and indoor. Very old school you feel like you’re somewhere in Europe. I took my 7 and 9 year old and they really enjoyed that. The pool was warm and for it being indoor it wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be with the humidity. One thing I wish it did have was more food options for the kids at the hotel. No restaurant was really open late for us to eat as a family. We ended up walking about 10 minutes to a chick fil a and a Taco Bell near by. We also stayed here because its location to the Lakers basketball stadium. My husband watched a game there while the kids and I swam. He was able to walk to and from. It was about a 15 minute walk which was nice because he was able to grab food on the way as well. The rooms were a little smaller than expected. Not much wiggle room but it did its job. I would say if you’re going to have 4 people get the queen beds not the double beds. One thing that really bothered me was the cost of parking. $70 a night just seemed ridiculous, I wish they didn’t charge hotel guest that much mostly when they had plenty of events that night that they were charging all those non guest to park. They could have done actual guest a favor and not charged that much. The valet staff was very nice as well as the bell hop staff. Overall we did like it."

"The location of the hotel is perfect for Hollywood Boulevard. There is a wonderful Japanese restaurant about eight minute taxi ride in the hills. Great view wonderful service. The on and off bus and other excursions are right around the corner from the hotel. Jimmy Kimmel is also located around the corner and you can maybe sneak some tickets."

"This hotel is cute, but the area that it is in is extremely loud. Also, it’s on the border of Skid Row and the Fashion district. If you’re not familiar with LA, these parts can sometimes be a bit rough. The staff was never really available via phone from the room so we had to walk down to the lobby often when we needed things. Also, when you call the hotel, no one picks up. Keep in mind that this is an older building that has been renovated, so it has quirks."
