「You are paying for what you get. This is no different than a standard Motel 6 and is definitely not a higher-end hotel. That said, the staff was super friendly, and the stay actually exceeded my expectations. Some of the other negative comments are honestly misleading. Don’t expect a five-star experience when you’re staying at a $60-a-night hotel.」

「Overall was ok, my daughter enjoy the indoor pool. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming to anyone that pay to stay there. When checking in the customer before us got more attention since it was a regular base with the conversation I heard, when it was my time to check in I wasn’t ask about rewards program or anything like that. Receptionist was not welcoming and it seems she only was more friendly with some customers. We usually stay somewhere else but this time I decide to give it a try...

「Exactly what i expected, look forward on returning again soon! The rooms where clean, beds were comfy and the staff were great! Enjoyed that the lodge has its own general store, saves you a trip from driving and also Enjoyed the live bands as well! Definitely Returning! Cons: The outdoors heaters were out of service and firepits were all off on the outdoor area to lounge at, Would of been nice if they had them all functioning! Also Theyre famous creek dinning area is closed off. 」

I have a particular room that is just really nice and it’s just a very comfortable place to be in, but of course one of the best things about it is the man at the front desk in the morning. He is a delight such a sweet individual. The ability to be able to not use my car and just walk down to Capitol. Village is phenomenal and I feel like I lived there because I go down there so often. If I had my druthers and I wish I did I could buy a place out near there, but these...

「We absolutely loved our stay, the hotel was beautifully clean, the room was so spacious. The facilities were great. Food was outstanding. Alexa on reception was so welcoming and helpful, thank you 」

「The room was clean and a good size. It didn’t feel small. The gym was modest but functional. The downside was the restaurant was closed during the holidays so we had to eat at Parkside instead. That was a very pleasant dining experience so we weren’t disappointed. The proximity of the hotel to downtown Los Gatos was ideal. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all a fantastic stay and we look forward to returning, especially when the restaurant is open. 」
