Uji is a great little town to pick up green tea, and the best green tea ice cream I've ever had. There is shop after shop of green tea, and apparently they are one of the biggest tea producers in Japan.

Lovely large rooms, beautifully made up. Very clean and elegant. Super relaxing, the Japanese garden is gorgeous. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Large hotel room. Clean. Lots of room. Great shower. You can hear people walking around in the room above. The floor was paper thin and you could hear every step.
