"The location is great. The staff is nice. The lighting of the room is terrible. There is no switch to control the lights. You have to use computer by the bed to turn on/off the light. I hate the lighting so much that I would not go back to this hotel! There is no night light. If you have to go to the restroom at night, you have to turn on ALL bathroom lights, not one or two. No options! It’s central control by the bedside computer! All lights are on which blinds your eyes. Can you imagine that you have to turn on the bedside light to see the little computer in order to look for the correct button to turn on the bathroom lights! What’s an ordeal! It will be nice if they can provide microwave in the new lounge. The furniture is cheap! The new renovation is poorly cheaply done which is a shame!"

"I have stayed here before, the service is good, decent breakfest and the property is close enough to everything that getting around should not be an issue. Granted you will have to walk to the MRT but its the same distance to the computer market and shopping in that area. There is few food choices around the hotel but the quick walk to the MRT can get you anywhere you want/need to go."

"We made the right choice in this Taipei hotel. As is typical of a well run Japanese hotel the staff is most attentive and helpful. Started on the day of arrival when the plane got in really early and it was many hours before we could formally check in. The front staff offered us to use the Spa, and we were saved by being able to clean up and shower. And of course doors are opened for you, and staff bow whenever we get on the elevator. The rooms were nice, particularly after we were upgraded to a suite from our membership in the One Harmony loyalty program. Location was perfect, walkable to a number of good restaurants and shopping centers, and to the main Taipei train station."
