This was our first time exploring downtown St. Charles and it was awesome! I think the shops and restaurants are probably pretty cool year-round, but they were magical at Christmas time!

Lots of fun and unique shops in Old Town Saint Charles. The ability to get food and rent a bike for a ride along the Katy Trail at the Bike Stop Cafe is a unique and fun experience!

Was there for Christmas downtown. Snowed so that added a Norman Rockwell feel to downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

St Charles has definitely grown and become more congested since our last visit. It's lost the small town charm it once had but it's location was good for exiting the St Louis area

St Charles is a nice area to go to lots of shopping lots to eat but if you want to stay there your best bet is to get enough money and go to Vegas, because this hotel casino is a sad wannabe money pic. St Charles is worth the trip...stay elsewhere!

Love St. Charles riverfront and historic district. We plan our trip to coincide with Renaissance Faire in Wentzville each year.

St. Charles is my hometown so Im partial. The construction was a little inconvenient, but that will change soon enough.

Pay attention to your speed, it changes frequently and the intersections can be confusing and/or tricky sometimes.
"We stayed there for our daughter’s birthday gift, AJR concert.
The Hotel & Staff were so nice and courteous! The room was very clean and equipped!
The restaurant, 99 Hops House staff and breakfast were AMAZING!!!
The Amphitheater staff were AMAZING! They went above and beyond to make the night & birthday one to remember!!!!"
"Room was great, clean and comfortable for the price. Hotel is a walkable distance to both city Museum and Union Station, which is great. Our only problem was the state of the pool. The water was murky, and the whole thing did not appear to be clean. Hot tub was not really hot and did not have enough water in it. My kids really wanted to swim in the pool so it was somewhat of a problem for us. Other than that we really enjoyed the stay. "
"Our stay was great, clean room, friendly staff. The only downside was parking. Parking was valet only when we arrived, and had to park in the public lot two blocks away. "
"From check in, bar and housekeeping, every staff we interacted with was solicitous, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel especially for anyone attending entertainment in the area. "
