Kahler Grand Hotel

"I stay at the Kahler because it a 30 second walk to the Mayo Clinic. Parking at the clinic is difficult because of significant construction that will take several years to complete. The hotel is good but the rooms are old so not up to modern standards. They are clean and comfortable with nice beds. The HVAC system is antiquated and confusing. The secondary amenities of the room are Spartan and similar to budget hotels. The restaurants and other accessible amenities are quite good."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The only thing our party really had an issue with was breakfast. There clearly is not enough tables for everyone to have a place to sit for breakfast. Maybe taking away upholstered lounge furniture and adding more tables and chairs would be a better use of the space. We had 10 people in our party and enjoyed being able to have coffee and breakfast together. We were not able to sit together until the area cleared out closer to the end of your serving time."
