「The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some...

All n all, if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay and location is important so you can walk around the town and not have to drive, Hotel Nichols is the place to stay! South Haven as a whole is the perfect mini getaway from Chicago, and Hotel Nichols' location is absolutely perfect so you can walk around to shops, restaurants, the beach etc. It was a last minute mom and daughter trip. 「We had an amazing stay at this cute Inn! The place itself was incredibly clean and central to everything in town, but our favorite thing about this place was the staff.
