「When we arrived they had to go “make sure” the room was cleaned. Still wasn’t real clean when we FINALLY got to go to it.
The elevator wasn’t working and we were on the third floor. Probably would be smart to email people and let them know this. As I have bad knees and it was a task to walk up all those steps.
Paint was peeling everywhere. Just all around a BAD experience.
Will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Gives the whole company a bad name.」

「The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some...

「This is my second time staying at Hotel Nichols in South Haven. All n all, if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay and location is important so you can walk around the town and not have to drive, Hotel Nichols is the place to stay!
