「We happened to be the only guests staying there mid week. The property was safe, quiet, and extremely clean. The breakfast was prepared every morning were gourmet. The only negative was the shower was a little small and the temperature was difficult to regulate. Loved that it was right across the street from the lake.」

「I came back to stay at the Wickwood Inn twenty years after I had last stayed here. It was lovely then, but I feared it might have gotten dated by now. No need to worry! They did a complete renovation of the inn. Still the beautiful antique-filled luxuriously plush rooms, but updated to a more muted and understated color palette befitting the current design aesthetic. The exquisite marble-clad bathroom was a particular delightThere is still no other place in town that holds a candle to this. 」

「Have stayed here before, like the place a lot. Great location, good value, great places in walking distance. Only input this time is that it’s time to update the livens. The sheets are almost see through and the towels are pretty thin and rough. Easy fix. Otherwise looks like they have painted recently and made other updates. Still a great place to stay and I will recommend and will try again」

「We had a wonderful time during our fall leaf trip. Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed hearing the lake while in our room. We woke up to the wonderful smells of a tasty and filling breakfast. The owners/staff were tentative and friendly. As a bonus, the garden and grounds looked fantastic! 」

「This is a great location for visiting the South Haven and Saugatuck area. Many of the hotels available are on the expressway - this is in the Blue Parkway but tucked back and quiet. Rooms well appointed with own bathroom. Easy access/parking and easy check-in. Hosts very accommodating and called prior to arrival to be sure I had no food allergies or special needs. Breakfast was amazing and if you are in the house, you dine on the porch in the summer. Hosts were very gracious and welcoming....
