「Starting with Emily at the front desk, to the clean room with brand new carpet, to the clean pool and an impressive breakfast bar, we were impressed with this find in Allendale! Much to our dismay, we arrived in Grand Rapids only to find all hotel rooms in our budget were filled already due to a sports event. We drive a little further and happened upon this gem! Would definitely stay again.」

「When we arrived the outdoor trash can was overflowing and garbage was blowing around the parking lot. We walked in the lobby and there was no one at the desk. We rang the bell and after several minutes someone finally came to check us in. She was less than friendly. Got into our room and the cleaning staff left everything to be desired. The furniture was dusty and the metal plate that the bedside light fixtures were attached to had crusty finger prints around the light switches. The bathroom...

「I will neverrr in my life will i ever stay at this hotel ever again in my life. I was displaced from my home due to my neighbor starting a fire and the manager thought it was cool to crack a rude joke “just don’t burn our hotel down” umm excuse me? Then at breakfast, i noticed other people had their dogs, no one said a word to them. I assumed oh, it must be a thing and it was okay. While we were in the lobby with my dog… the manager said something to us. I moved him but I thought it was funny...

「Room was ok, we couldn’t use the pull out bed couch because the sheet was absolutely stained. Bathtub was sticky and stained, bathroom had no ventilation, front desk person didn’t seem to care and was sleeping on the couch 99% of the time we saw him. Overall, I’m glad we were out doing things instead of being in the room.」
