Our room smelled as if someone used the in wall air conditioner as a urinal. Bugs everywhere in the unit (127) and a clogged sink. Staff was friendly but the hotel was sold out so we had no choice but to stay

Facilities were clean and nice in main lobby and breakfast area. Elevator was old and rickety. Third floor room was very run down with many broken tiles in bathroom, mold in cracks and stains on wall. Piece of baseboard tile fell off and I tripped over it as soon as we checked in. Blinds/curtain broken. Broken blinds on front of building show all the mess of the cleaning storage room on 2nd or 3rd floor. I expect things to be in a good state of repairs for almost $800 for 3 nights. Location was great. Our floor reeked of pot the whole time.

Hotel in general was very dirty. Walls were dirty, bathroom was dirty, and we even found someone else’s clothes in the dresser. Only reason we actually stayed instead of leaving was because the beds were decent and we were only there to sleep before continuing our travels. After checking out we realized we were double charged by the hotel after already paying through Expedia. I will say I did speak with management and she was very helpful in fixing the situation and said there would be a meeting about the cleanliness of the hotel to be brought up. But for an almost $200 room, the hotel was nowhere worth that amount and we will not stay there again.

The elevator was broken the entire stay. I had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room. The floor was either no vacuumed or done poorly because I found a popcorn kernel and an m & M on the floor. Housekeeping did not come once in the 3 days.

Room was clean and comfortable though walls could benefit from a new coat of paint. Check in was quick with friendly staff though we did not see staff the next morning. Breakfast was hot and filling with several choices .

We’ve stayed here several times in the past, but apparently the property is under new management, and the experience was quite different. The elevator was not working during our two-night stay, and our room was on the third floor. The room itself needed maintenance, especially in the bathroom—missing or burned out light bulbs, missing cover over the shower light fixture, stained shower curtain. An employee told us that the new management was working on previously deferred maintenance, so hopefully conditions will improve.

The room (my was 204) was dirty, bed sheets were with stains and not cleaned, one floor tile broken, toilet tank cracked on top, holes in the bathroom walls, hole in bathroom door, toilet didn't flush properly, underneath faucet at shower without wall plate, bathroom mirror broken at one corner, ottoman cushion next to bed had a cigarette burn; a lots of dust behind tables and sofa; back wall of the closet repaired without matching paint, shower gel deposit completed empty, walls had black scratches in different places.

Upon arrival we were informed all of management is brand new within the last 4-6 weeks; further noting the previous management did not take very good care of the place. Overall, staff was welcoming, kind, and open to feedback. Parking was excellent, no need to pay additionally like some places across the country. Cleanliness was okay, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. Here's what I noticed: - the grout in the showers could have been cleaned a bit better - the shampoo stripped ALL of the oil from my hair, was thankful I brought my own conditioner - the toliet was slow to flush unless you held the handle down for a specific amount of time - found 2 stink bugs in our room - electrical wires were coming out of a light fixture or smoke detector? I couldn't tell - electrical wiring was coming out of the air conditioner - the microwave cord was short, it was plugged into a power strip, which caused the power strip to hang from off the floor - the heat lamp or second light in the bathroom was not working There's still a lot to do, but I wish the new management the best of luck, and hope they can turn the place around.
