「Great Property, but Service Needs a Personal Touch I had mixed feelings about my recent stay. On the positive side, the rooms were spotless and the property itself is in excellent condition. However, the service didn’t quite live up to the surroundings. I believe great hospitality is all about the little things, and a few details were missed during my visit: A Slow Welcome: After a long flight delay, I arrived around 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, the reception desk was empty. I waited about 10 minutes...

「We had a really great time! The Dome we stayed in was really cute and “evil eye” themed! Comfortable bed and we even had a hot tub. We built a cozy fire and enjoyed the deer that came out at night. Will be back with a bigger group of friends to enjoy the pool! Thanks for the lovely stay! 」

「The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to give us recommendations for area restaurants and information on the layout of the town. Our room was very clean and spacious. The Inn is located perfectly for walking to restaurants, shops, and local attractions in South Haven. If you are a cycling fan, you can launch from the hotel and ride to both the Kal-Haven and Van Buren trailheads. 」

「There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. 」

「The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some...

「We had a family emergency so we had to leave the first night, therefore did not partake in the breakfast. The day manager that my husband spoke to was so kind and accommodating since we had to cancel our 2 remaining days. The kitchen lacked supplies, the evening mgr said guests steal the flatware, dishes etc. she was able to get flatware & dishes from another room. Bathroom soap, shampoo dispensers were empty, which she filled for us.」
