"Loved my stay at this Hotel. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff was warm and welcoming, the location was in what is now the more interesting and authentic part of Florence. The Terrace overlooking the Gardens where you can eat breakfast was dazzling. In this age of ultra modern hotels, this one stood out because of its preservation of history and yet the room and the bathroom were large and roomy yet warm and cozy. "

"Very happy we booked here! It was such a pleasant place to stay!! Was happily surprised by a few things: The apartment is on the Piazza Carmine where there is a lovely old church Santa Maria del Carmine with the Brancacci Chapel. Also about a half block away and to left of the church steps there is a laundry mat, and just across the street from this a small grocery store, and a few more strides away a family bakery/kitchen where we got sandwiches, pastries and lasagna โ lovely generational...
